A Meditation on Meaning by: Elizabeth Barrette
Search for meaning fill our days
Trail of crumbs through thorny maze.
Still we show – a hidden clue –
Who we are through what we do.
Smoke and mirrors, truth and lies,
It should come as no surprise.
Deeds alone make our words true:
Who we are is what we do.
Thou are Goddess, so we say,
Choosing truth through roles we play.
Making meaning from the skew:
Who we are and what we do.
