When you find yourself with many partially burned candles leftover from spells and rites that have served their purpose you may no know what to do with them. Enter the Candle Burn-Off Rite.
It’s good to do this periodically to make room for new things to come into your life. This ritual allows you to burn all of your left over candles in a sacred way that won’t affect any spells or energy associated with the candles. The rite is here as follows:
Gather all of the candles in a central location where you will be present for the duration of the burn off. You need to be able to keep an eye on the candles. You can gather them on a single heat proof surface or scatter them around the room, whichever you like.
Begin the ritual by lighting the candles and say something like:
As I light these candles,
all workings are brought to completion.
As their energies are being released,
all positivity is carried forward with harm to none,
so mote it be.
Let the candles burn themselves out. You can do this in stages if the candles have not gone completely out by bed time, you can snuff them out and resume the rite the next day.
