Sunday we discussed in detail how to create your own magickal bath. If you haven’t read it yet, read here to get you started before you plan for a Tuesday Magickal Bath.
Tuesdays are the perfect time to have a magickal bath dedicated to increasing passion in your life. Passion can be for many things, love yes, of course, but how about passion for a project, your work, hobbies, writing, a new venture, giving back to your community or standing up for the rights of those who are unable to fight for their rights alone. Bringing passion into your life can improve all of its aspects.
Colours for passion are red, pink, rose, white and burgundy.
Stones associated with passion are garnet, moonstone, rhodochrosite and ruby.
Plants and herbs include cardamom, caraway, cayenne, cinnamon, coriander, dragon’s blood, ginger, ginseng, heather, hibiscus, lavender, lemongrass, licorice, melon, mint, patchouli, rose, rosemary, vanilla, vetiver and violet. (Please note that some herbs are toxic to breathe in and/or shouldn’t be ingested. When this is the case you can use herbs to sprinkle around your sacred space or have in a bowl of the herb in the room. Research the herbs you use to be sure if they are toxic or not.)
The numerical correspondences are 4, 5 and 7.
The obvious element here is fire, but also water (emotions).
I would suggest choosing a secondary (or tertiary) colour that corresponds to the type of passion you are after. Things that would involve the home might be brown. Yellow would be good for creating positive change or learning. Copper or bronze brings in love and passion in positive relationships and friendship. Pink is associated also with peace as well as passion. Turquoise is good for human rights. Green would be appropriate for financial, healing, peace, plants and animals. Do you have a passion for helping animals? Use green as a secondary color to boost your effectiveness when fund raising or organizing.
Have all of your ingredients and tools cleansed and charged prior to the ritual.
A passion bath has so much potential for our lives because we need passion to get things going and keep them going even in times of stress and to finish strong. So be creative when you think about all the opportunities you have to bring passion into your life.
Since there will be so many variations of this bath I will give you a general outline in terms of what you can write for your incantation. Remember as with all spellcraft and ritual visualization is key! So see yourself more passionate and achieving your goals. Visualize success with your endeavours.
You could use words such as:
I call for passion in whatever your endeavour
I am filled with enthusiasm
I am filled with light
I am filled with passion
glowing bright.
Be as specific with your wording as possible. You need to be focused in order to achieve good results.
You can repeat the bathing ritual every week that you’re working on the project, or every month for things that are ongoing. Use the stone you chose as a touch stone for each time you are working on your passion project. Have it charged ahead of time so when you feel you need a boost you only need to touch it for a good spark of passion.
May your life be filled with passion and success!
Many blessings,
Lady Black
