November Full Moon

The full moon in November is commonly known as the Mourning Moon and Beaver Moon. This is a time of letting go. Rid yourself of the baggage you’ve accumulated in your life and cleanse yourself of the things you feel are holding you back. These could be friendships that have become toxic, negative self-talk, old loves, addiction and past trauma.

Allow yourself a few moments to mourn the past, evaluate it and then take action to move on. Once you have been able to let go, you can focus your energy on starting anew.

Attune yourself to water and use lapis lazuli, turquoise, and topaz along with and greys and blues to assist you in spells and rituals.

You can make a list of things you need to let go of and then burn the list during your full moon ritual. You can also do this as a separate rite, leaving the full moon ritual as purely celebratory. The choice is yours.

You can use words in your rituals such as these:

The Mourning Moon is bright and full,

now is the time for letting go.

Let go of the hurt, shed the past

feel the power; strength to last.

Banish toxic friends, bad habits and negativity

so there’s room in your life for receptivity

to bring in positive and healthy things

and all the greatness Spirit brings.

So mote it be.

Many blessings,

Lady Black
